Cancelation.
You have the right to cancel your order at any time, this is unconditional and beings as soon as the contract is drawn.
You have the right to cancel and request a refund once you place the order and until 7 days after the day you accept the goods, even when goods are not defective.
If you choose to cancel your order after your order has been dispatched, goods should be returned to ThePerfumesuperstore within 7 days of receipt.
In this instance the cost of returning the item is born by the customer.
Alternately the consumer can make the goods available for collection however ThePerfumeSuperstore has the rights under the DSR to recover all costs in recovery.
If a consumer fails to return goods when a contract has been cancelled ThePerfumeSuperstore is allowed under DSR to take action against consumers for breach of the statutory duty to take reasonable care.
Cancellations under the DSR will only be accepted in writing via letter, fax or email. In the case of posting letters and emailing it is advisable that the consumer retains evidence of cancellation such as proof of postage.
Your cancellation rights end 7 days after receipt of goods.
Returns
As a consumer you are entitled to return goods upon receipt up until seven working days after the day of receipt of your goods. However goods must be unopened in their cellophane wrapper and have been shown duty of care.
ThePerfumeSuperstore will not fund any cost of returning an item unless the incorrect item has been supplied or the goods have been damaged in transit or are faulty.
Refunds will only be issued to the amount of the goods and insuring the goods safe return is the responsibility of the consumer
We would recommend returning goods via a traceable method, as if the goods are lost then the risk is born by the customer.
Any item damaged due to incorrect packaging when being returned will be subject only to a partial refund, at the discretion of ThePerfumeSuperstore
Any goods returned to ThePerfumeSuperstore as ‘undelivered’ or ‘not called for’ will be refunded back to the customer at the price of the product only.
Length of contract
We aim to dispatch our orders within 2-4 working days and delivery within 7 via the royal mail.
We however comply with the DSR and conclude our contracts within 30 days from the day after you the consumer opened the contract; unless both parties have agreed otherwise.
If we are unable to complete within the deadline we will inform you prior to the deadline and if no revised date is agreed then the contract will be dissolved, with the consumer still keeping their rights under non-performance.
If we are unable to complete within the contracted period of time we comply to the DSR and all monies paid including postage and packaging.
Refunds
ThePerfumeSuperstore aims to issue refunds on day of cancellation if the goods have not been dispatched. However under DSR refunds must be issued within thirty days.
Extra Services Such as gift wrapping are non refundable once goods have been dispatched.
Insurance of Goods
Until the consumer accepts delivery the goods legally belong to ThePerfumeSuperstore, therefore all risk is born by ThePerfumeSuperstore.
Once the goods have been accepted by the consumer they become property of the consumer with risk being transferred to the accepting party.
The consumer therefore bears any risk when returning items.
When goods are lost in transit ThePerfumeSuperstore will either send new goods or offer a full refund.
In this situation we have to wait 15 working days from the date of postage to put a claim in with the royal mail for a missing item; once this claim has been confirmed then the contract will be concluded.
Abuse Policy
We believe that our staff should have the right to work without the fear of threats or abuse from anyone, therefore before using any of our services we ask customers to remain civil when communicating with our staff at all times.
Any abusive language or threats over the phone will lead to the call being terminated.
Similarly any voicemails or email, which insinuate threat or contain abuse, shall not be responded to. All voicemail and email are recorded for reference and training purposes.
