Lolita Lempicka started her design career as a small child making clothes for her Barbie dolls. The daughter of a seamstress, she had a passion for clothing and art, taking inspiration from designer like Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld, but also painters, photographers and fairy tales. Her clothing designs were noted for their use of elements of lingerie on suits and outerwear, as well as lace-work and appliqué.
She branched out into perfume in 1997 with Lolita Lempicka pour femme, which was an instant success. Each scent has a mystical world created around it.
Every Lolita Lempicka design includes her three signature elements, a heart for love, and an apple for passion and ivy for eternal devotion.
She had such success with her perfume that the range was expanded and now includes other fantastical and charming fragrances such as Fleur Défendue, Fleur de Corail, and Si Lolita.
