Kylie Minogue was first shot into the limelight when she appeared as Charlene in Australian soap opera Neighbours, but it wasn t until she released her first hit, a cover of the Little Eva song Locomotion in 1987 that she really hit the big time.
The song was a huge hit, staying at number one in the charts for seven consecutive weeks, making it the biggest selling Australian hit of the 1980s. Two decades later and Kylie is one of the best loved pop stars in the world, having earned a number of music awards including Brit Awards, ARIA and a Grammy. In 2008 she was awarded an OBE for services to music and currently holds the records for most played female artist on UK radio in the last twenty years.
Kylie has also followed in the footsteps of other stars by launching her own perfume range. The fragrances are said to reflect the many contrasting qualities of the modern woman, and of Kylie herself. The scents, Darling and Sweet Darling are strong, seductive, glamorous and playful, just like Kylie.
