L Eau D Issey is known as a classic, floral-woody-marine scent which contains the notes of freesia, lilies, and sandalwood. Since its launch in 1992 it has been seen to be a turning point in modern perfumery due to its design and scent and many other fragrances have been inspired from it. They have been inspired by both the scent of this fragrance and the bottles architecture. It is seen as a unique fragrance and many people regard this fragrance as their signature scent from a huge age range of people from early twenties to late fifties. After wearing this fragrance I feel that it has a fresh floral scent which is great on a summers day as it makes you feel very fresh.
It is a very popular fragrance and has been around for a long time. Issey Miyake have made similar versions of this perfume however they never seem to be as popular as this classic fragrance. With its fragrance type of Eau De Toilette it lasts for a good 4 to 5 hours. I also regard it as a clean and romantic fragrance aswell as fresh. It is not too zesty nor too soapy. When I wear this fragrance I seem to get many admirers of this fragrance which also includes me!
