Hugo Boss lauched Elements in 1993; it's a piquant, refreshing fragrance that incorporates all four elements of nature - water, fire, earth and wind. It has main notes of amber and lavender, which is unusual for a men's fragrance. The other opening notes are basil, lemon and Artemisia, which lead to a cottage garden heart of coriander, thyme, violet and rose. The more earthy tones are in the base notes - leather, moss, cedar and sandalwood.
