The clothing and accessories company French Connection was founded in the UK in 1972
In 1997 the clothes started to be branded as fcuk, standing for French Connection United Kingdom but causing much controversy due to the similarity to a common swear word. The fcuk branding was more controversial in the US than the UK, however the fcuk brand was extremely popular and the company have since been able to expand the range into eau de parfum sprays and other toiletries.
The fcuk fragrance lines caused more controversy with their brand names FCUK HIM and FCUK HER.
