Dolce & Gabana have been producing men’s eau de toilette since 1994, although the company’s history goes back much further than that.
Formed when Italian duo Domenico Dolce, born in Polizzi Generosa on August 13, 1958, and Estefano Gabbana, born in Milan on November 14, 1962, joined forces to establish a fashion consulting studio in 1982, D&G has since become one of the hottest and trendiest fashion houses in the world.
Since 1985 they have traded under the famous Dolce and Gabbana brand, creating a defining brand that adds a retro edge to an fresh, upbeat, contemporary product line.
Two years later they began producing knitwear, and in quick succession, they followed this up with beachwear and menswear in 1990, women’s fragrance (1992), home collection (1994), and most recently, their line of jeans and eyewear in 1996.
