Be Delicious

Be Delicious by Donna Karan aka DKNY was released in 2004 and according to the designer is a fresh sophisticated blend of apples flowers ad woods.

The Top notes are of Grapefruit, Cucumber, Magnolia, with a heart of Apple, Tuberose, White Muguet, Rose and Violet. The base comprises of White Amber and Woods.

DKNY’s description of be delicious is actually rather apt upon the first smell of the scent you are met with a airy fruity scent that whilst is rather sweet is not sugary sweet. The best way to describe be delicious would be a sophisticated sweet apple desert, sweet but not sickly with a splash of apple to light the senses.

Be Delicious is definitely a great fragrance for summer, however its does not have as much of an apple tinge as the bottle would suggest. That being said Be Delicious does have great Silage and its long lasting; I would advise on a summer’s day to only use one spray, as the scent can be rather strong.

In terms of design, I love the bottle it symbolises the big apple without being tacky, however the bottle can actually be a little fiddly the first time you use it, as you have to turn the cap to unlock the atomiser.
