The House of Creed dates back to 1760 when James Henry Creed opened his first shop much to the delight of the aristocracy. By 1854 Creed had been adopted by all the courts of Europe and was supplying people from Queen Victoria to Napoléon III. As Creeds client base grew so did its reputation for creating rare and beautiful fragrances of the highest quality.
Today the descentant of James Henry Creed still runs this great House and personally selects the finest produce to make Creeds Perfume with. Interestingly, Creed still manufacture their own essences using traditional techniques that have long since been abandoned by most houses due to cost. As well as this rarity Oliver Creed the current President of the House of Creed insists upon using natural essences instead of synthetic ones which enables the House of Creed to maintain originality, superiority and quality of the House’s perfume lines.
