Carolina Herrera, a native Venezuelan, moved to the United States specifically New York at the age of 12. Her career took off in the early eighties with a range of ready to wear women’s clothes after being named best dressed in the US for some time.
Her first fragrance, the hugely popular 212, was launched in 1998 and one year later the men’s version was created. This stamped Carolina Herrera’s presence on the beauty and cosmetics industry and since then 212 has enjoyed an expansion into an edition named 212 sexy for both men and women. Carolina Herrera’s fragrance line has also moved forward with the introduction of Herrera for men and Herrera Aqua.
