Promesse by Cacharel was apparently the company’s first fragrance they designed with the American market in mind. I’m not sure what exactly that means if I’m honest, but if the American market craves pretty and pink then that’s definitely what they’ve got in Promesse!
Created by Carlos Benaim and Sophie Labbe Promeese by Cacharel is for me a surprisingly pleasant fragrance. With well-blended and subtle notes they’ve done a good job in creating a very wearable fragrance.
Opening with notes of fresh citrus a heart of an orangey berry flavour and then drying down to a woody base best worn on a spring day or a humid summer evening to intense its staying power.
Yes Promesse is pretty it is pink, and that might detract some women who find the packaging all to Barbie like; but Promesse really is a case of don’t judge a book by its cover.
In summary a Promesse is a really pleasant citrus fragrance that would suit any women on a warm spring day.
