Founded in 1856 by Thomas Burberry, Burberry created gabardine fabric and the company is probably best known for their famous Burberry Check pattern.
Burberrys first fragrance was released in 1981 and is named Burberry for Men, other well known Burberry scents include Touch and Weekend. In 2003 Burberry introduced Brit, which proved to be a huge success for the company; leading to an array of different editions such as Brit Gold etc.
Throughout the new millennium Burberry have produced a number of fragrances some of the more popular include Burberry London for both men and women introduced in 2006. Burberry’s most recent perfume for Women is Burberry the Beat which has a male fragrance The Beat for Men to coincide with it.
